Has anyone found a way to download amazon prime videos to the macbook pro?

There is no way to do that on a Mac. Downloads for offline viewing are only available on the Amazon Fire Tablet, or through the iOS or Android Apps.

Get a cheap android tablet, and use the Android Amazon App to download the content.

Outside of that, I don’t see another option.

problem I have is I live in country and can't stream movies due to poor internet. Only way is to go to coffee shop, download to my macbook and then connect to my TV. What about aftermarket options?
