Hi, who know why my macbook pro speaker got crack? and how much its cost for repair?

This is the most expensive MacBook Pro with upgraded specs. Its just 3 months old. Apple wants me to accept the free repair in warranty and use a refurbished product for the remaining 9 months. Well I paid for a new product and was promised that it will run the way I bought it for 12 months. This is unacceptable!
