Random Shutdowns 2019 MBP 13" 2 TBT3 Port Battery Remaining

This is my second MacBook Pro 13" 2019 that has shutdown when there is a good amount of battery left.

First MacBook shut down always at 35%.

Took it to apple store, Genius Bar said there was nothing wrong with it hardware wise after running diagnostics.

In-store the specialist reset the SMC and I also tried a clean OS install of Mojave. 10.14.6. Nothing is working.

Recommended that I get it exchanged.

Took faulty MBP to apple the next day and got a new one, same model. 2019 13" MBP 256 gb 1.4 Ghz.

Started at 100% battery and just streaming Netflix; battery hits 45% and completely turns off.

Not sure if this is just a bad luck with 2 MacBooks or a consistent problem across this model. (Maybe has to do with T2 Chip) or bad battery cells?

Any Advice?

Okay I think I found the problem and a solution. So it's not the battery that is faulty but it's just the system that doesn't recognize the correct battery level. So when it says 100% it's actually at ~70%. and when it indicates 35% you actually really are at 0% that's why it turns off.

SMC reset alone didn't work for me.

Fix:

So what I did is to try to calibrate the battery:

1) so from it's shut down I let it charge until 100% but I let it +2hours more to make sure it's really 100%. Unplug from the charge

2) Then I did the reset SMC.

It was stuck at 100% for like an hour or more but then drop to the true level battery and didn't turn off until 0%.

And everything seems ok now.
