How should I make the layouts to all videos except in separate layouts like all clips?

Choosing an iMovie aspect ratio and size I'm importing old 640x480 (4:3) videos into iMovie. When I place these files into the Timeline, the Project window is 16:9 (cutting off top and bottom of videos) and the finalized project is saved at 1280x720. How can I set the project aspect ratio (in this case we need 4:3), or the finalized project size, (in this case I'd like to keep at 640x480, but may later chose to go 960x720 or 1280x960, depending on quality of video. It's important that I preserve the aspect ratio since these are old medical videos. I'd like to avoid pillarboxing if I can.

iMovie Movie template I saw iMovie in OS X Mohave has a new feature of making "movie trailers" with your own Hollywood style movies by filling out a template already setup with clips and titles etc. Does iMovie also have a template for making actual movies in the same style? I'd like to make a movie that has longer shots but still follows a storyboard type layout with an outline and shot list. That'd be great.

When you select Years>All Years the clips will be separated by years. If you just select Years, they will be displayed without separation into individual years.

It's about my videos in the Photos section on iMovie. It separated like 2017, 2018, and 2019 (as shown on the screenshot)
