Lost Iphone shows offline

My wife lost her iPhone. We had lost iPhone and send last location settings turned on along with family sharing. When we sign into either one of our icloud accounts the phone shows up as offline. I know the battery was running low and probably died, but isn't there a way to see it's last location before dying?
