Multiple Apple TV

I want to swap out my Spectrum boxes and replace with four Apple TV boxes. If I start a movie and stop can I resume with another Apple TV box? If one box is wired and 3 are wi-fi, will that be a problem? If I don't have a smart tv in some rooms, will there be an issue to connect? I'd like some ideas or comments before I spend over $500 for these Apple TV 4K.

Movies from the iTunes Store keep track of the resume position for the Apple ID, regardless of device. Not sure if the Spectrum app is as smart as Apple’s own software in this regard.

That does not have to be a problem, but your network has to have the needed bandwidth. Simultaneous use will quadruple the bandwidth requirement.

The Apple TV set top box connects to an HDMI port on the TV, and using it cuts out (takes over) the smart functionality of the TV. So the TVs do not have to be smart TVs, but they do need an HDMI input.

I believe that the 4K Apple TV is not wireless only seems wireless in smart televisions as they receive the internet that transmitting the Apple TV into the smart tv It has WiFi built in so only the home app or connected devices in that home app can be for configuring.

I have the Apple 4K TV it is awesome with the features it will be better with new releases Apple TV as a channel in itself. 🙂.
