I recently got a new phone 8. I'm trying to transfer both downloaded and purchased music from old phone and Ipod to new iphone 8. All downloaded music will not transfer to Itunes, only purchased music. How can ALL music be transferred?
You cannot transfer music from one iOS device to another iOS device. If it was music that you imported from CD’s and synced to the device using iTunes, the only way to get it on the other device, is to sync that device with iTunes as well.
You cannot transfer music into iTunes on your computer that was not purchased from iTunes on your devices. You can only transfer purchased content from Apple into your computer’s iTunes library.
