Hi,
I’m trying to upload 2 word files onto a website and when I go to the area where they are stored (both on Dropbox and on the iPad) they are greyed out (see the attached screenshot) and cannot be accessed. I’m running the latest IOS Software.
Appreciate help to resolve this.

Launch the Word app on your iPad. Tap More on the left side at the bottom. Tap On my iPad. Open the Word folder. Open a document. Edit it slightly or just minimize Word. Go back to the Files app and see if the document is accessible.
I’m still not sure that you will be able to upload using Safari, but first things first. You need to be able to access the files.
From Safari, this may not work. Try a different browser, like iCab Mobile.

Thanks for your reply. I’ve done as you suggest but cannot find the “More” button on the Left side at the bottom.
Attached is the image of the LHS of the screen when I open the Word App.
Do you actually have the Word app on your iPad? If you don’t, I don’t think you will be able to use the files.
I do have the word app on my iPad.
I’m so sorry. I left out a step. Tap on Open, Then Tap On More.
Just tried that.
Left the Word App open, still the files are greyed out when trying to accessing them via DropBox and also directly from the iPad.
Can you edit the files in the Word app itself? I may not respond for a little while. I’m on my way to my office.
