i cant listen to a whole voicemail

my friend left a voicemail for me that is 14 seconds long but i’m only able to listen to the first four seconds of it. this has also happened to some of the rest of my voicemails, and i don’t know how to fix it

Set up Visual Voicemail on your iPhone

If no help, try contacting your cellular carrier.
