Yes. If Search doesn't help find it, you can reinstall. See the following from Delete built-in Apple apps on your iOS 12 or later device or Apple Watch - Apple Support
Restore a built-in app that you deleted
Please be advised,
I was able to locate at Techbout.com advising users that they can restore icons back by going into Settings> General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout
I am now able to see the Music icon!
Pretty quick and dirty.
The scenario does not work for my situation. Apparently the application was not completely deleted and still exists somewhere on my phone. When going to the App Store my only option is to OPEN the application. The same thing happens when searching the phone for a music application. Unfortunately this option does not help me.
See here to do a spotlight search: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201285
If the only option you get is to open it, then it is still somewhere on your phone. Search each page and any folders. Try a spotlight search to see if it is in a folder.
Did the manual searching several times unsuccessfully hence my problem thread here. I don't know what a spotlight search is and the how to article I found was dated and made very little sense.
