Lightning to SD Card Camera Reader - "not enough space"
Hello!
Yesterday I purchased a "Lightning to SD Card Camera Reader" accessory to transfer photos from my camera to my iPhone 8 Plus / iPad 6th gen for editing in Lightroom Mobile.
It seems to work just fine - when connected it automatically opens Photos app and shows all the photographs from the SD card and lets me import then.
But there is one problem - often, when there is "larger" amount of photos (for example 1.62 GB as in the pictures I attatch to this post) it displays "Not enough space" message. Which is odd because, as in the example I post, because I have 20.8 GB of free space on my iPhone and it displays a message that it lacks 685 MB of free space while trying to import 1.62 GB of test photos.
Why is that and has anyone an idea how to solve this?
I'm using latest iOS, tried restarting the phone etc. Also - sorry for the Polish language in the pictrues as you might not be able to understand the whole text but it's pretty self explanatory anyways.
Kind regards and thanks in advance!
EDIT:
If it's relevant / important info:
- I'm using iPhone 8 Plus and the camera is Fujifilm X100T
- I use iCloud and iCloud photos plus use "Optimise iPhone memory" option so everything in original resolution is backed up in iCloud
- As of now I have 92.3 GB used (out of 200 GB) on iCloud (79.4 GB of whis are photos / pictures / videos). So as you can see I have enough free space - both on the phone itself and on my iCloud account to import all the photographs from SD card
- The card itself is SanDisk Extreme microSDXC 64 GB card with a SD adapter
