Can not access my iMessages.

I try to log into IMessages and it just spins. Cannot access my messages on my iPad. New development. Never have been asked to login. What can I do?

Are you saying that the Messages app itself will not launch and you just see the spinning wheel on your iPad? If that’s so, try force closing the Messages app, restart your iPad and then try again.


If you are saying that the Messages app will not activate, try the same thing. Force close the settings app, restart the iPad and try again. If that doesn’t work, look here for help.

If you get an error when trying to activate iMessage or FaceTime - Apple Support
