Junk mail

I have tried disabling junk mail but keep getting mail put into junk when it is not. Is there anything else I could do. Thank you.

Hello WKR13,

Thanks for asking the Apple Support Communities for help with junk mail. I am happy to offer a couple articles to assist you with this.

1. This first article talks about reducing junk mail on your Mac: Reduce junk mail in Mail on Mac - Apple Support

2. This next article talks about the filter, and what to do if emails are marked incorrectly under the section titled "If emails are incorrectly marked as junk": If junk mail filters aren’t working in Mail on Mac - Apple Support

  • There is also an option to reset the Junk Mail preferences. "If the problem persists, click Reset in Junk Mail preferences to reset the junk mail database to its original information. Resetting the database removes everything Mail has learned from you about what is junk or not junk, so you need to help Mail identify junk mail again."

Thanks and have a wonderful day.
