Hotspot tether to pc laptop

I have been unsuccessful in trying a usb tether from iPhone to computer so the pc can have internet connection

Did you read these instructions?:--> How to set up a Personal Hotspot on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

at section: "Connect to Personal Hotspot with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or USB".
