I’ve been specifically trying to use an apple gift card to purchase songs from the ITunes Store... the gift card was successfully added to my account, however, I’m unable to choose the card as an option of payment. Can someone please tell me what I’m doing wrong??? I’ve tried just about everything and haven’t been able to do so.

That is correct. You do not "choose" how your payment is made. The payment method is determined based on rules set by Apple.

Is there anything I can do for complete the purchases???
Certainly. Be certain all your payment methods on file are valid, current, complete and correct.
