Hide/Unhide Library Folder

Hey,

I'm using macOS Mojave V10.14.6 and I accidentally managed to unhide the Library folder using the "Terminal" page. and finding it in the GO Tab.

and I don't to how to undo this action, and make this folder hidden again.

I really need help as it's not safe for this folder to be easily accessible by any one using my MacBook.

Thanks.

It's not that unsafe, open a new Finder window, click on the Home icon in the sidebar, click on View in the menubar

and select Show View Options. On the panel that pops up you should see Show Library, uncheck that box.

Just use False instead of True. :)

Show hidden files in OSX Finder

Open the Terminal and type or copy/paste:

defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles -bool true

Reverting to the default of NOT showing hidden files:

defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles -bool false

*Restart or Force Quit Finder required to take effect.*
