NOT HEARING OUTPUT

Hi,

I cannot hear any output from Logic or my internet for that matter but I can hear i tunes. I have my monitors connected to my MOTU 828 mk3 sound card, is there a preference setting in Logic that I might need to look at?

Any help much appreciated,

Thank you,

D.

MAYBE YOU'RE DEAF ALREADY FROM CONSTANT SHOUTING?

There's this very fine user manual, with a section about setting up logic. Read it. It tells you exactly how you set up your equipment in the audio preference dialog, how you create tracks, how you record, and all the other things that you'll soon come to ask here.

Cheers,

Jazz

P.S. yes, I know I'm not overly friendly. No need to point me to it 😉

Have you looked at Aplications/ Utilities/ Audio-MIDI-configuration ? Can you find your soundcard there ? And in System Preferences is your soundcard selected there ?
And in Logic in Preferences/Audio/Devices/Core Audio/Device is your soundcard selected there ?
And what Sample Rate is on? Look in Logic in Settings/Audio ? If not allready put it to 44.100khz.
And do you have a control panel-application of your soundcard ?Are the right settings put there?
