Loading audio from itunes to connected iphone 7

I am trying to add some audio files from my PC to iphone using itunes. The audio file is successfully in the iTunes library, and the phone has been recognised. The fifth step in the generic web instructions reads

"Now, click “Music” under “Settings” tab."

I don't see any tabs, much less a 'Settings' tab on the iTunes interface, using instructions dated May 2019.

Could someone please explain what I might be missing here?
