Nord VPN issues in Iphone Xr

I have an iphone Xr and I recently subscribed to Nord VPN. The VPN is working fine when i switch to mobile internet. But it is not working when i connect to wi-fi. I am getting the error vpn server did not respond. I am able to connect to Nord VPN through wi-fi in my laptop. So, i would say that the issue is not there in the wifi area. Hence i ask for some support to help me resolve the issue in my iphone.
