my Homepod has started to make an intermittent crackling noise

How do I stop the intermittent crackling/popping sound coming from my HomePod when it is not playing music. It almost sounds like and electronic discharge. I have rebooted, I have deleted from home app and rejoined. Also updated to latest version of software.

This is something I think you might need to follow up with Apple via HomePod - Official Apple Support.

Send it back as soon as possible, or apple will not make valid the warranty.. if you can get a refund for it, please do it... less expensive brand have much better quality. This is one of apple product failures.
