How to download an app from the app store?

I downloaded an app(instantpot.com) from the app store. Then it asked me to use Touch ID to install it, which I did. But, when i looked at the list of apps on my iPhone 7, I could not find any ikon for it. Did the app download and install? Or is it somewhere else on my iPhone, and not showing on the home page? How can I tell if it was downloaded and installed when I see no ikon for it?
