Why is my iPad asking for me to add my apple password in settings ?

I personally would likely just do what my iPad instructed and go to Settings and add my Apple ID password.

If you are concerned, about doing that however, use the Contact Support button at the top of this page, or call them at: 1-800-MY-APPLE to put your mind at ease.
