Spotify opens when starting Notebook. All signs say it shouldn't

Hello,

Spotify opens when I boot up my notebook. It is not in my list of User Login Items, nor is the Dock > Option > Open at Login checked.

I'm baffled! Can anyone shed some light please?

Spotify starts up automatically - but I cannot change that? After restarting my computer Spotify starts up automatically. The program is not shown in users - login items. There is no setting in the Spotify app I can change. The are no files related to Spotify in the User Library --> LaunchAgents or LaunchDaemons. I also tried by rightclicking the icon in the Dock --> Options, switching "startup after login" on and off and restarting. Spotify keeps loading up at startup. It is not in my login items and it was not running before restart. For some reason, Spotify keeps opening up when I restart my Mac, or after a system update like just now. It is not in my Login items (there are none there in fact) and it loads even when it was not running before I restarted. Any help?

Have you tried uninstalling it. If that works, try reinstalling it if you need it.
