Hi. I’m thinking of getting the pink iPod for my 7 year old for her birthday and I’m just wondering does it work the same as an iPad like can I download apps eg Netflix etc

Help PLEASE Bought my 7 Yr Old daughter second hand IPOD TOUCH 5th Gen... Think I've cocked up. Dont think its compatible with Netflix or YouTube and Im shocked that the musics all payable. I currently have Amazon Prime on my Hauwei but doesnt seem compatible with 5th Gen Touch. Yes. As long as the device is connected to Wi-Fi. Most Apps and Games work with the iPod touch, including Netflix. However it has no phone app and for example a few selected apps don't work (like the WhatsApp Messenger).

But the iPod has FaceTime Video & Audio and iMessage.
