Accessory not supported....

I get the message”accessory is not supported by this advice” when I’m not connected to anything. It pops up when I’m switching webpages or perhaps Apps. It happened twice while I was typing this note. Anybody have a thought, this is quite frustrating!

Either the charging port has something stuck in it or it's going bad. Try looking at the port under a good light with a magnifier if you have one. Carefully remove any lint or other debris with something non-conductive like a wooden toothpick.


If that doesn't work, make arrangements with Apple to have the phone evaluated:
