Applying for Apple Card

I received an invitation, but can't seem to apply on an iPad Pro. Can you only apply if you have an iPhone?

You need Apple Wallet to apply for the Apple Card. And you can't have Apple Wallet on iPad, so I'm guessing you need an iPhone to apply. Call Apple to confirm, but I believe you'll need an iPhone to complete the application process for the card.
