How to delete duplicate songs/albums all at the same time?
looks like entire library (3000 songs)has been duplicated ! Saw Turingtest2 has Depuer for windows. Anything for MAC desktop Mojave 10.14.6?

You can try Dupin or Dupin Lite 2 from https://dougscripts.com/apps/index.php. Would there be a pre-duplication version of your library in Time Machine perhaps? That might be an easier and cheaper way of fixing things. Also if the duplication just happened by reimporting your media folder it might be possible to organize the songs by date added and delete all the recent additions. You should make sure that you have a backup before attempting this, and be clear if there are duplicates in the media folder as well as in the library. If there is only one physical copy of each track, but two entries in the database, then nothing must be sent to the trash.
