As a government employee, when I load the US Holidays calendar, I should only see official government holidays. Instead, the folks at Apple also include religious holidays, such as Jewish and Muslim ones. Is there a way to load a real calendar, without showing religious holidays for a religion that I am not a practicing member of?

I used it to get rid of those pesky Christian holidays and change the name of Veterans's Day back to its proper name: Remembrance Day. Also, got rid of that silly "Presidents' Day" thing. Washington and Lincoln have real birthdays! Very useful.
The US Holidays calendar is not an official Government holiday calendar. It is a subscription calendar created by Apple for US holidays, and it is all inclusive. No where does it state that it is an official US Government holiday calendar. You cannot edit any of the holidays in a subscribed calendar. This is a real calendar that is created by Apple. Just because you do not approve of some of the holidays, does not mean that it is not real.
If you do not like the inclusive holidays in that calendar, then turn that one off and subscribe to one that better meets your needs.
