Individual notes in the notes app on iPhone XS are disappearing. Same used to happen on iPhone 6.
Mostly I lose notes that I access often (or maybe these are more obvious when they go).
They vanish without being erased.
I’ve checked “erased notes” and other folders but no luck
How do I get them back?

Thanks Brendan, but this hasn’t helped.
I’ve checked all those places and the missing notes aren’t there.
The notes were typed on the iPhone and saved in the default location “On My iPhone”. They’re only accessed on the phone using the apple notes app.
It would seem like “Notes” is a fairly basic app, where you should be able to save text and look at it later, so it’s frustrating when things go missing.
Have you any other suggestions how to get the information back please?
