Restore option not appearing.

Hi,

I am trying to restore my iphone 6 back to factory settings,the reason for this is i had forgot my passcode which i had recently changed.I am going through the right way of connecting the phone to my pc but in itunes i still am not getting a pop up window appear on screen to RESTORE PHONE.can you please help me.

Follow the steps again. iPhone's screen should stay black.

Thanks,iphone is saying disabled..so as requested by apple support.switch off and swipe screen.hold on home button and connect to usb poet on pc and wait till you get the lead and itunes logo on the screen of the iphone.this happens but still no popup windown appears on pc in itunes.do you still recommend going back to apple support.
