Phones don't emit ionizing radiation. The levels of non-ionizing radiation it emits are not harmful. The sun, on the other hand, emits some very harmful, cancer causing radiation.

That being said, deggie is correct, a non-working Home button is a problem in using the phone.

There is nothing in the iPhone emanated that could harm you and the home button would not be involved at all. It may be a problem to you in the future if you have to restore your iPhone form recovery mode.

Why would you think that?
