Need help changing region

I recently moved from Thailand to the US so I am trying to change the region of my app store to the US store. When I tried to change it, it told me I needed to cancel my current apple music subscription in order to change region. I went ahead and did that but it is still telling me to cancel my subscription when Ive already done it.
