I've had some strange issues on my iMac - dropped letters on websites, i.e. all "y"s missing, the digit "0" turning into a dash, etc.. I was pretty sure I was dealing with a virus of some sort. I've purchased a new Mac and would like to use Migration Assistant to transfer files, but something is preventing me from using Migration Assistant. I then noticed that there was an icon for Hex#A3 in my tray and it resisted going in the trash. I'd obviously like Hex#A3 off the old computer before I transfer any files, but haven't heard of a way to truly get rid of it.
Can you provide some more details? What is the file from that you are trying to get rid of? Where is the file located that you are trying to get rid of?
