Apple Care

If I have an Apple Watch Series 3, and have Apple Care, but lost my Apple Watch and the watch is dead, will Apple Care allow me to be able to get a new watch or get it for a cheaper price or do I have to purchase it at a regular price?

I do not believe that Apple Care covers lost watches.

Apple Watch died 15 months in, AppleCare only covers my iPhone I purchased an apple watch that suddenly died 15 months in, I thought I had apple care but have since found out that only covers my phone. Is there no credit card related protection? I can't believe I have to keep paying for something that just stopped working.
