How to turn off Apple ID Suggestion

My credit card expired on my apple id. I updated it but I still have that annoying red 1 in my settings icon and the message that is waiting is UPDATE PAYMENT INFORMATION

When I select it it tells me to avoid interruption to active subscriptions update the payment information for your apple id, CONTINUE... when I click continue it shows my valid credit card info - "This payment method is used with Family Sharing. Applicable purchases initiated by family members will be billed to this account."

How can I get this annoying red update button to go away?
