Charger causing random typing

I have seen many people on this site stating that they have had their iPhones basically freak out when plugged in, usually it’s because of a off brand cord but it does seem to also happen with apple cords and I was just curious if anyone has figured out the cause of this happening or if apple is attempting to resolve this problem as it seems to be hardware based
