My Apple Watch does not charge fully, and the watch is warm to the touch in the morning after charging.

Try a different charging cable. Also make sure your charging cable is making solid contact with the back of your Watch. If these don't work make an appointment at an Apple Store to have a technician examine your device. Or contact Apple Support.
