WhatsApp language suddenly switched to French

A couple of day ago my WhatsApp keyboard suddenly switched to French and I can't find a way to switch it back to English. I've checked the Language in iPhone Settings and the issue is not happening when I try and text. There seems no way in the app to correct the problem, which is driving me crazy!
