File Creation

I am doing some photo organization that I am then uploading go OneDrive. I need to create year folder ie. 2019 then sub-folders for each month then sub-folders for each day.

Can Automator do this? If not is there a script that can process this for me?

I would like the format of the folder names to be Year "2019", Month "01.2019", day "01.01.2019".

Automate files into folders by month I'm running 17 time lapse cameras. Each camera takes a photo every 15 minutes, and uploads it into a Dropbox folder so my client can see / access. I'd like to run an automator script that puts files into different folders depending on the filename: 20220304071500.JPG (2022 03 04 07:15:00) So I'd like the script to be able to read the 5th and 6th characters which will be the month on every file I have, and put them into a folder of the same number If it could create that folder, even better... there are 599,000 images for me to sort and the project is ongoing :-| Any help would be appreciated

Photo library is organised alphabetically and numerically folders, not years Hi, I have recently started using Photo on my Mac and I now have 8000 approx photos/videos in the app. I have researched how to see the files by accessing the Photo Library and seeing the folder structure. Based on what I have learned, I should have a folder in my library folder structure for 'Masters' (or Originals?) Inside this folder I should have a folder for each year (2010, 2011...) However, I have a folder named 'Originals' and inside this I have a list of folders titled: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and then folders titled: A, B... F. From what I can see, these folders contained my photo files which begin with the number '0', or the letter 'B' etc. So inside each of these folders is a range of photos from different years. I have add three shots of the folders below. Does anyone know why folders are being titled and structured this way, rather than in years - and how I might correct the issue? Many thanks.
