Plist for People in Photos

My iPad just merged my two children together. Of course, when I opened my Mac it merged them there also. Is there a Plist file on my Mac that is specifically used for "People" in Photos so that I can grab that backup file to restore the way it used to be?

That would be nice to have, but the traces of the face detection are distributed all over the place in the Photos Library. It would not help anyway to restore the library just on one device, because this would merge the restored faces with the existing faces in iCloud. If you want o revert to an earlier version you would have to wipe the photos library in iCloud and all devices, then restore the earlier version of the photos library from a backup and wait for this to upload again to iCloud and sync to all devices. But you need a full backup of your Photos Library. I you have been using "optimize Storage" with iCloud Photos this will not work, because the backup of the Photos Library will not contain all photos. If you restore an optimized library, it needs the photos in iCloud.

How have you been using iCloud Photos? With "Optimize Mac Storage"? And what kind of backup do you have?
