Cannot set up Gmail on my new iPhone XS

I have been trying for days to set up my gmail on my new iPhone but it doesn't work and I don't receive an error even to know what the issue is. Im not using VPN and I have already tried this without WIFI but nothing works. I would appreciate some help ASAP since I use my email address quite often and its super hard to access it through the browser.
