Imac restart loading screen loop
Okay so I've had my imac for a very long time now. Long enough to be surprised it runs so smoothly with games and downloads. One day my mac glitched and forced me to restart which led me to the apple logo loading screen, but it only stayed halfway. I've checked multiple apple communitys and websites but nothing works!ive done:
-coding in terminal
-recovering digital utilities
-leaving load screen on for an hour
-unplugged my imac completely and plugged it back in
- resetting smc
-tried using safe boot
The only things i haven't tried was download os x which isn't an option and backing up everything and restoring on time machine.
This mac has alot of important things and the fact I've tried all these things and nothing worked has become aggravating. Help?!?!
