Hi,
I'm frequently getting suggestions which appear above the keyboard in Safari despite the fact that all the settings for this are turned off. This has been a well known bug in the past but I can't see any recent threads on this. Are others experiencing this issue? It's annoying as none of the suggestions are ever helpful.

I would recommend that you check one of the following links to verify that the various settings have been turned off. If you are still have issues you may have to contact Apple directly.

Unfortunately these steps don’t work; it’s not really predictive text in the sense that it’s trying to predict search terms which are completely useless. From what I have learned there are suggestions that you can’t turn them off which is annoying as they are not in any way helpful and just take up screen real estate.
Have you tried going into your settings and under safari settings turn of search engine suggestions? (see image)
