sims 4

I have a macbook pro (2017) currently, but used to have a MacBook pro (2015 i think, the one with the cd port). On my old MacBook, sims 4 worked perfectly. i tried to download my sims onto my current macbook and it says it isn't optimised for this laptop. does anyone know how can i play sims on my laptop because i feel like I've now wasted money on the game!

Typically, when you see that "error" message, you are being warned that the app that you are using is (most likely) a 32-bit app. You can double-check if that's true, by doing the following:

  1. Option or right-click on the Apple icon in the upper-left of the macOS menu bar.
  2. Select System Information...
  3. Under the Software category in the left-side window, select Applications.
  4. Allow the app list to build.
  5. Look for the Sims 4 app, and then, look at the value under the 64-bit (Intel) column. If it says "no" then this is a 32-bit app.
