My iphone xr is randomly shutting down and starting to overheat on its own

I already tried a restore but it happens randomly when im doing something important it will just shut off today it got so hot I had to put it in the fridge and it was still hot please give me suggestions I spent $749

on a messed up phone or else then I will get a samung s10e
