How to completely remove Macfee ? Just bought a new computer and migrated from the old one via migration assistant. Both on macOC Big Sur 11.1. I got rid of Macfee long time ago and forgot how exactly. Still there is a shadow on the top menu and on my new computer I get every 10 minutes this bogus alert. How do I get rid of this nightmare? Useless advice includes buying it anew to reinstall it, but Macfee considers macOC Big Sur 11.1 as not supporting its software and won't allow to download it. Another useless advice is to go through Terminal. Also : I asked in despair my system preferences not to block Macfee, following the content of this alert, but alerts still pop up. Thank you very much in advance for your help.

Big Sur in conflict with McAfee total Protection? Since upgrading to Mac OS 11.6.5 Big Sur my McAfee has disappeared and I can't reinstall it. McPaw has spent 3 days trying to fix it, including sending me a new link to download, and nothing has worked. Is there a known conflict between the two? How do I resolve this? The error message says there is a conflict with an anti-virus software and to delete it. Neither the techs nor I can find the problem. Help!

You may have to reinstall it to get to the official uninstaller.
