My Macbook won't play any videos or music

Suddenly my Macbook Pro won't play any videos or music. Both files on my computer and on the internet as well. So far the only solution is to restart the computer but then it stops again after maybe 20-30 minutes. Can anyone help me?

Specs:

MacBook Pro (2018)

macOS high sierra

10.13.6

2.6 GHz Intel Core i7

32 GB 2500 Mhz DDR4

MacBook Pro Retina

To trouble shoot further you can:

Try a SafeBoot https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201262

Takes noticeable longer to get to the login screen, does a 5-15 minute disk repair before it fully boots up, and certain system caches get cleared and rebuilt, including dynamic loader cache, etc. Log in and test.

This test will tell you if third party interference; extensions etc are not loaded in safe boot mode.

Test issue in another user (or guest user) account  https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204443

This will tell you if it a universal issue or isolated to your user/admin account.

You can try running the Diagnostic/AHT http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1509

If still no headway you can get a good look at your System config. for conflicts or issues, you can run this utility http://etrecheck.com

If you need help interpreting the report you can post it here in its entirety in the "Additional Text" box in the edit toolbar below.

Won't play how? You mean the sounds stops mid stream or will not launch at all?

Verify your ISP is not having issues.

Run a speed test on your Network for your download speed: https://testmy.net/download

Have you tried Try resetting NVRAM/PRAM http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1379

For example, when I try to play a video in Finder nothing happens when I press play, the same with music. I don't think it's a internet problem since I'm having the same problem with my own files. I've tried resetting the PRAM two times but the videos/music still stops after using the computer for 20-30 minutes. It has always stopped while I'm using Final Cut Pro X.
