Connecting to WiFi
Trying to connect to WiFi by bringing it near a connected iPhone. It’s not working. How close? Does the other phone have to do anything? Other than be connected?

A router? Yes there is a router in the house. My husband is already connected we can’t remember password. It says on my phone (where I would connect to WiFi) to enter password or bring next to a connected iPhone or iPad that’s already set up connected
No. That's not how it works. If you don't know the password you can't enter that Wi-Fi network.

You can't use Wi-Fi without a Wi-Fi network (router).
Well it shouldn’t give me that instruction then. I have the password now so it’s irrelevant, but, now that I’ve joined I can no longer screenshot the instructions.
If you are trying to share the wifi from another device make sure that both devices have each others contacts saved. Then it will automatically show up on the phone to share the wifi.
Thank you. Voila!
