Apple Music student subscription

Hey. I’ve verified my student status with UniDays but somehow every time I open the Music app the verification request pops up.

Hello Marco_123,

Thanks for asking the Apple Support Communities for help with verifying your student status.

This article talks about the verification: Get an Apple Music Student subscription - Apple Support

"About validation

When you join Apple Music as a student, UNiDAYS, a student validation service, confirms that you're enrolled in a degree-granting university or college1.

Periodically, UNiDAYS re-validates your student status. If UNiDAYS finds that you're no longer a student or if you have a Student subscription for a full 48 months, your subscription automatically becomes an Apple Music Individual subscription."

As mentioned, this will occur periodically to verify the account. If this is occurring repeatedly and you are unable to verify, it's possible the issue is cause by the network you are connected to. I recommend trying while connected to a different wireless network. You can also try by turning off Wi-Fi and testing only with your cellular connection.

  • To turn Wi-Fi off and use your cellular connection, go to Settings > Wi-Fi, and turn the slider off. Be aware that this will use your cellular data until you turn Wi-Fi back on.

The first article also has an option to reach out to UNiDAYS stating:

"Get help with your UNiDAYS account

If you need help with your UNiDAYS account, contact UNiDAYS Support."

Thanks and have a wonderful day.
