Pages files won’t open since update to Mojave. Help!

I recently finally updated to Mojave. Since then I’ve been unable to open any Pages files. Please tell me how I can open or recover my Pages files. Thanks!

Pages suddenly won't open in Mojave 10.14.6 I've been using Pages frequently; suddenly it won't open any documents on my iMac 2012 running Mojave 10.14.6, nor can I create a new document. I have other computers using Mojave 10.14.6 without problems. Tried to download from my purchased apps in the App Store, but it shows a version from 2014. The newest Pages in the App Store can't be used with 10.14.

Can't Open Existing Pages or Numbers Documents after Reinstalling MacOS After reinstalling the Mojave OS because of issues after security update 2020-005, and then restoring files from Time Machine backup, I had to reinstall Pages and Numbers from the App Store. After Pages and Numbers were installed, I received this message "The document "xxxx.pages" ("xxxx.numbers") could not be opened. The file doesn't exist." It didn't matter whether I opened Pages first or tried to open the file by clicking on it through the Finder window. It is clear that the files do exist.

Open your App Store and check for updates like Pages, Numbers, Keynote. You may have older versions that will not allow you to open your existing files
